A very successful concert was held by the Green Chorus on 6 July. Over 170 people enjoyed an excellent and diverse musical programme in the beautiful surroundings of St Johns Wood church. The church contains an interesting collection of early nineteenth century funerary monuments, a number of which record associations with the East India Company..
The programme included “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Mussorgsky and also included traditional Japanese songs as well as sacred music by G. Caccini, M. Kocsár & G. Fauré.
