Also contemporary compositions specially written for the ensemble by Dai Fujikura, Mai Fukasawa, Akiko Ogawa and Howard Skempton.
Japanese eurythmist Tomie Ando will make traditional Haiku, Tanka and contemporary Japanese poetry visible through the movement art of eurythmy. A brilliant evening of discovery and introduction to Japanese poetry, eurythmy and music.

The performance showcases Japanese traditional music & poetry spanning 400 years from the Edo period to the present day. Programme includes contemporary works especially composed for Okeanos Ensemble which are the fruit of Anglo-Japanese creative partnerships and projects.apan400 Event Applicaton – Okeanos Ensemble with Tomie Ando
